Description Outstanding and complete WWII NE Small Arms model 1918 BAR parts kit with two piece demilled receiver and live barrel chambered in .30-06. The receiver is marked “BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFLE / US CAL 30 M 1918 A2 / MAN’F’D BY NE SMALL ARMS CORP / – PATENT APPLIED FOR -“. There is no serial number marked on the receiver. The 24” barrel, with flash hider marked “NE 22”, is marked “NE-7 / Flaming Bomb / 10-44” and the hood over the dovetailed front blade is marked “C-64177 / WRCO”. Attached to the barrel is an elevation adjustable bipod. The rear sight is marked circle “NE5-1 C-64231A” on the side and “I.R.Co.” under the ladder. The bolt has markings circle “NE2”, “NE3”, and “NE4” along with part numbers. The FCG is marked “ROT / 6535470 / 3 * / ArmaSteel”. The foregrip and carry handle are hardwood and the stock Bakelite. The entire kit is packed in a pelican style rifle case. Condition: This kit is exceptional and complete right down to every spring and pin and begs to be built up into a semi version to be proud of.
