Description WWII Inland manufactured model M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine. This example with S/N 4971379 and dating to January 1944 features an 18″ barrel marked “INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 1-44”, milled “N” marked front sight, repro type 2 barrel band, early flat top bolt, late rear sight, early push button safety, correct butt plate and correct S.E. Overton marked low wood stock. There is a faint cross cannon cartouche on the right side and the rack number “2” painted on the bottom of the grip. Included is one, 15 round magazine. Ships to FFL/C&R only. Condition: Very Good showing a nice even parkerized finish with the exception of the bolt. The stock has been sanded and there is a 1-1/4″ gouge in the left side just above the fcg. The barrel is import marked “BLUE SKY / ARLINGTON VA” on the left side just rear of the front sight.
