Winchester model 1886 lever action rifle chambered in .45-70. With serial number 136945 and dating to 1905 this rifle with a very desirable caliber features a 22″ nickel steel barrel with dove tailed front blade, Marbles buck horn rear sight and tang mounted peep. Ships to FFL/C&R.
Condition: Overall grade is Good with finish turning a pleasing brown patina, The bore still has a hint of shine with distinct rifling and even crazing down the length of the bore. The action is well broken in but functions as expected. The butt stock has been sanded and the butt plate looks to be a replacement. The receiver has been drilled in two places left side.
