U.S. model 1917 Eddystone in .30-06 with a internal capacity of five rounds and a 26″ barrel made in July 1918. This rifle is in very good condition with an average amount of handling wear. The hardwood stock is in very good condition with scuffs and scratches but nothing major. The butt plate is in very good condition with the rifles cleaning kit still within the butt stocks trap door. The receiver is in good condition, no damage, needs a good cleaning. The trigger and magazine plate are in good condition with light touches of metal oxidation. The fore-end grip is in fair condition with a crack on the underside in front of the shoulder strap loop. Adjustable rear peep hole sight and front fixed blade in excellent working condition. The rifled barrel has a touch of frost, otherwise very clean. Smooth bolt action and crisp trigger pull. Mounted with an olive drab shoulder strap in very good condition.
