Description Steyr Model 1895 in 8x56R with a five round internal magazine box capacity and a 20″ barrel. Made in Austria and imported by C.A.I. out of Vermont. Metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued guard, magazine box, smooth trigger, receiver and barrel. Unfinished bolt. Rear left side of bolt serrated safety switch. Rear bolt checkered charging handle. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Front mounted fixed bayonet lug. Front left of muzzle stacking prong. Left side metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Inside guard located serrated clip release. All visible serial numbers matching. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good/Very good with scuffs, scratches, metal oxidation and a wood crack where the wood meets the receiver backstrap. Wood block fill on the butt stock underside. The rifled bore has a moderate grain to it with strong rifling.
