Springfield Armory Model 1903 Mark I in 30-06 with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 24″ barrel. This bolt action rifle is in very good overall condition. The metal butt-plate is in very good condition and still has the cleaning kit within the stock, sharp checkering. The one piece solid hardwood stock is in very good condition with moderate field wear throughout, no cracks. The trigger and magazine plate are in good condition with light metal oxidation and scuffs throughout. The bolt and receiver are in excellent condition with a touch of finish wear, scuffs and light scratches. The rear adjustable sight is in very good functioning condition with a touch of oxidation. The wood fore end has a small crack in the top where the wood meets the rear sight. The wood fore end is in otherwise great condition with a few scuffs and scratches. The front and rear barrel bands are in good condition, with a touch of metal oxidation. This rifle has three loop points for attaching a shoulder strap, they are all in good working condition. The front blade sight and muzzle are in very good condition with scuffs, scratches and light finish wear. The rifle has a barrel muzzle date of March 1920, “3-20”. This rifle does not come with a bayonet. Clean rifled bore and tight bolt action.
