Description Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag Jorgensen in .30-40 Krag with a five round internal rotary magazine capacity with a 24″ barrel. This rifle has been Sporterized and the w2ood stock cut down. Metal butt plate with cleaning rod door, empty. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued guard, magazine box, bolt handle, receiver and barrel. Rear bolt safety switch. Right side of receiver loading gate. Rear adjustable Redfield peep hole and front fixed blade sight. Metal loops and a leather and brass shoulder sling. Antique, No FFL required and ships to buyers home.
Condition: Good/Very good with scuffs, scratches, wood damage and metal oxidation. Large wood patch on the top of forend where the sight was. Clean rifled bore.
