Description Spencer smoothbore rifle .56 caliber with approximately a 20 gauge bore. Possible an 1865 carbine conversion with a 28″ single beaded barrel, unmarked receiver with the exception of the serial number 30048, side tang indicative of a carbine, Stabler cut-off and carbine length forearm. Antique, ships direct to buyer.
Condition: Good showing signs of cleaning and refinished stocks. The bore still has a shine with some small and scattered spots of pitting. The action functions properly however the Stabler device is slightly loose.
