Mosin Nagant M39 Sako in 7.62x54R with a five round internal magazine and a 27″ barrel made in 1941. This rifle is Finnish Army proofed. This bolt action rifle is in good overall condition with moderate wear. The butt-plate is in poor condition with dings, scratches and light metal oxidation throughout. The stock is in fair condition and is a two piece spliced at the fore end. The stock at the heel has a diagonal spice of hardwood added to the rifle by Finnish stock maker. The stock has a small crack where the trigger meets the wood. The fore end grip is in poor condition and has a crack across the top and light wear throughout. The receiver and bolt are in good condition with a light touch of metal oxidation and finish wear, smooth to touch not pitted. The rear adjustable sight is in good condition with light metal oxidation, functions great. The magazine box and trigger are in fair condition, with light metal oxidation and pitting. The magazine box door latch is sticky and not easily opened. The barrel bands and cleaning rod are in very good condition with light wear, scratches and scuffs. The cleaning rod is stuck in rifle otherwise is in very good condition free of oxidation. The rifle does not come with a bayonet. The rifled bore has a very light grain to it. This rifle is mounted with four sling loops for attaching a shoulder sling in two different ways. Clean crisp trigger pull and smooth bolt action.
