Six shot blued percussion revolver. Well known for its service during the civil war, this one is properly martial marked by a ordnance inspector.. Pinched front sight. Single letter inspection marks on many pieces. brass trigger guard. 8″ octagon barrel and nicely fitted walnut grips. Serial 91163 on the frame and matches on the barrel. This one was used in a shooting competition and has stickers on the grip from the current owner. Antique, ships directly to buyers home.
Condition: Antique Very Fine to Excellent. Bluing is strong 60+% with the barrel and grip area having the most loss/thinning. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling and hardly any defects. Mechanically excellent with tight lock up and timed well. Grips are very good, matching serial in pencil and have no apparent cracks.
