Rasheed (Rashid) Carbine in 7.62x39mm with a detachable five round magazine and a 18 1/2″ barrel made in 1960. These semi-automatic rifles were made in a very limited quantity of around 8,000. This rifle is in excellent overall condition with little wear. The metal butt-plate is in very good condition with light surface scuffs and scratches. The hardwood stock is in very good condition with a few light scuffs and scratches no cracks or chips. The bolt and receiver are in excellent condition with light finish wear, scratches and scuffs. The magazine and trigger are in very good condition with light all-over field wear and a touch of metal oxidation on inside trigger guard.. The rear mounted adjustable sight is in very good functioning condition with a touch of metal oxidation. The wood fore end is in very good condition with light scuffs, scratches and dings no cracks or chips. The muzzle and front hooded sight are in good condition, the muzzle was threaded at some point that was ground off. The bayonet is in excellent condition free of handling wear, damage. The rifled bore is very clean and the function is tight. This rifle comes mounted with a green shoulder strap in excellent condition.
