Great example of a higher grade Parker with ejectors manufactured in 1934. According to the reference books this was actually one of the last Parkers to roll out of the factory before Remington took over. Single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib, barrel marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A TITANIC STEEL” 12ga 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. Beautifully engraved receiver. Tight scroll, with pheasants taking flight on the underside, pointers on sides. Double trigger, automatic tang safety. Fancy diamond checkered splinter forearm with engraved hardware, and straight English stock checkered with raised design at wrist and engraved skeleton buttplate over a checkered butt. Includes aftermarket leather bound trunk style case, canvas outer cover. *C&R Eligible Condition: Very Good. Appears all original. Bluing on barrels is excellent with over 90% original remaining. No signs of re-blue, only some storage and handling scratches. Some edge wear at muzzle and breech. Case coloring is absent but the engraving is still deep and sharp. Wood is excellent with just scratches and dings. Stock may have been lightly sanded and retouched but done so tastefully and to original style.
