Good example of a higher grade Parker manufactured in 1897. Missing bead sight on the solid matte rib, barrel marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A DAMASCUS STEEL” 12ga 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractors. Nicely engraved receiver. Tight scroll, with pheasants on the underside, pointers on sides. Double trigger, automatic tang safety. Fancy diamond checkered splinter forearm with engraved hardware, and pistol grip stock nicely checkered and Parker hard rubber “dog” type butt plate. *Antique, No FFL Needed Condition: Antique Fair. Case coloring is absent but the engraving is still clear. Wood is refinished and clear coated. Buttplate is not cut to fit on this stock and not original to the gun. Bore is mirror bright with some pitting. Missing front sight. Function is good.
