Marlin model 39 / 39A lever action rifle chambered in .22 S,L,LR. Estimated production of this HS prefix rifle is 1939 (First year of 39A) which features a 24″ barrel drilled and tapped with Weaver N3 scope mount and Weaver G4 scope with fine reticle and clear optics, case hardened receiver and lever with hardwood stock and forearm. HS prefix means this was the last of the 39 receivers used to make the new 39A. Also note that the lever and stock resemble a 39… The only item on here that is 39A is the barrel, otherwise this is a 39. We speculate that this is unique transition piece between models. Must Ship to FFL

Condition: NRA Grade Good condition. Only non original part is the scope, which is missing a couple of screws on the top of the rings. Some light speckling on the receiver, barrel and magazine tube. The case colors remain vivid and over 90%. The stocks have some scattered light marks from use. The action is tight and functions properly and the bore is bright and shiny. Must Ship to FFL/C&R.
