Description Mannlicher Model 1895 Carbine in 8x56R with a five round internal magazine box capacity and a 20″ barrel. Made by FEG in Budapest and imported by C.A.I. out of Vermont. Metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued guard, magazine box, smooth trigger, receiver and barrel. Rear left side of bolt serrated safety switch. Rear bolt checkered charging handle. Inside guard located serrated clip release. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug. Front left side of muzzle stacking prong. Left side metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Matching serial numbers on all visible parts. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good/Very good with scuffs, scratches, metal oxidation/pitting and a wood fill on the butt stock underside. The rifled bore has a moderate grain to it with strong rifling.
