Description Mannlicher Model 1895 Carbine in 8x56R with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 20″ barrel. Made in Budapest by FEG and imported by C.A.I. out of Vermont. Metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued guard, magazine box, receiver and barrel. Rear left side of bolt serrated safety switch. Straight pull bolt with checkered rear charging handle. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Front fixed bayonet lug. Front left side of muzzle stacking prong. Left side metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Scribed serial number on bolt is matching to receiver and stock right side. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good/Very good with scuffs, scratches, metal oxidation, butt stock damage, wood block fill and metal pitting. The rifled bore has a moderate grain to it with strong rifling.
