Description Japanese Arisaka Type 99 in 7.7x58mm with a five round internal magazine capacity with a 25″ barrel. Made in the Nagoya Arsenal in Japan and is Series 6 marked. This rifle has been Sporterized after the war by cutting the stock down. Metal butt plate. Split smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued guard, smooth trigger, receiver, bolt and receiver. Rear bolt safety. Rear left side of receiver located bolt release. Inside guard magazine floor plate release. Rear flip up adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good/Very good with scuffs, scratches, heavy wear and metal oxidation. Wood fill on the stock. Imperial proofs have been ground off. Stock has been shortened. The rifled bore has a very light grain to it with strong rifling.
