German GEW 98 in 7.92×57 (8mm Mauser) with a three round capacity and a 29″ barrel. This bolt action rifle was made in Berlin Germany and proofed “Berlin 1906”. Metal butt plate with moderate metal oxidation and wear. Wood stock has dings, scratches and heavy wear throughout. Receiver and bolt have metal oxidation and light pitting. Trigger and magazine plate have heavy wear and metal oxidation. Barrel and bayonet lug with metal oxidation and heavy wear. Comes with, bayonet, scabbard and bandoleer with rounds. Bandoleer is proofed “August 1918” Heavy grain to the bore and smooth bolt function. Must be shipped to FFL or C&R holder.
