This Pre-ban example which fires from an open bolt with a fixed firing pin and which was grandfathered by the BATFE as unrestricted and legal for transfer features a 16-1/4″ barrel with battle rifle style front blade fixed rear peep sight, Tommy gun style steel foregrip, tube type receiver, cast and milled steel lower and surplus Thompson SMG stock with steel butt plate. This second variation Eagle features a threaded trunnion allowing easy removal of the barrel for takedown. This accepts standard military M3A1 Grease gun magazines with one being included, with a bolt and function not unlike the M3A1 only in semi auto.
