Nice example of classic war time WWI Colt 1911 manufactured in 1919 (confirmed by serial). Although well worn, parts, barrel, mags, and holster appear to be correct. Grips were probably replaced. Finish is well worn with former pitting and oxidation around. Early inspection mark to right of trigger. 2 two tone mages included, one with and one without the lanyard loop. Lanyard looks correct. Holster is marked “Rock Island Arsenal; 1916; T.C.C” Also it bears the initials J.H.F and “US” stamp. C&R ELIGIBLE.
