Colt 1883 Hammerless side by side shotgun in 12 gauge with a two shot capacity and a 26″ barrel. The butt plate has been replaced at some point with a plastic “Ithaca Gun Co” plate in poor condition with heavy wear. The wood butt stock is in poor condition with a cloudy finish, scuffs, scratches and heavy dings throughout. The pistol grip has very worn checkering small cracks and a repair on both sides where the wood meets the receiver. The receiver is in antique fair condition with heavy finish wear and touches of metal oxidation. The double trigger and guard are in fair condition with light metal oxidation. The Damascus barrels are in very good condition free of heavy wear. The wood fore grip is in fair condition with heavy handling wear no cracks or chips. Appears to be parts matching on all parts of this shotgun except butt plate. Clean bores and smooth action. This shotgun is an Antique, No FFL Required.
