The solid walnut grip plates are in excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or wear. The brass trigger guard and front-strap are in excellent condition with no signs of handling wear. The backstrap is blued and has gold inlay in SAM COLTS signature. The case hardened frame and hammer are in new condition with no handling marks or signs of wear. The cylinder with factory engraving done by WL ORMSBY out of New York is in new condition with no scuffs or scratches. The rifled barrel is in new unused condition with no finish damage. Case hardened push rod in excellent condition no handling wear. This black powder revolver comes with its factory box with outer cardboard box from Colt, matching serial number.
