This rifle style was made by a few different companies and is referred to as a Swedish Mauser. This bolt action rifle is in good condition with moderate wear. The metal butt-plate is in fair condition with moderate, scuffs, scratches and oxidation. The solid hardwood stock is in good condition with moderate field wear throughout, no cracks. The wood fore end is in good condition with heavy scuffs, scratches and dings. The trigger and magazine box are in fair condition with metal oxidation and light finish pitting throughout. The bolt and receiver are in excellent condition with factory grease still on internals, no major finish wear. The bolt knob has a touch of metal oxidation. The rear adjustable sight is in excellent functioning condition with light factory grease still on. The barrel bands are in good condition with a light oxidation all-over. The rifle is mounted with two sling swivels for mounting a shoulder strap, these are in good working order with a touch of metal oxidation. The cleaning rod is stuck in rifle and in otherwise good condition with a touch of oxidation. The front fixed blade sight and muzzle are in good condition with almost all of the finish worn off, a few light scuffs, scratches and metal oxidation. This rifle has a threaded barrel. The rifled bore is clean. The bolt action is tight with a crisp trigger pull. This rifle does not come with a bayonet.
