Colt model Lightning medium frame slide action rifle chambered in .38-40. This example with serial number 11891 dates to 1885, the second year of production for the Lightning and features a 25-3/4″ octagonal barrel with correct front and rear sights, full length magazine, crescent butt plate and strong Rampant Colt logo on the receiver. The metal has turned a nice even grey/brown patina throughout. Antique, ships directly to buyers home.
