Description Nice example of a Alex Henry falling block rifle circa 1872 by NA & A Co.of an unknown straight wall caliber. English black powder proofs at bore with a “52” proof. Finely checkered straight stock and round forend with ebony tip. Front brass blade sight and 3 leaf (1 fixed) marked “100”,200, and 300 rear sight plus ladder sight graduated to “10”. Cerrosafe drop casting was inconclusive, Tapered straight wall cartridge approximately 2.6″ case length, neck diameter .437″. Comes with a Alex Henry Rifle Maker book #562 of 750 signed by the Author Donald Dallas on 14 March 2019. Antique, ships to buyers home.
Condition: Antique Very Good. Wood has been sanded and clear coat applied. Bore is excellent. Function is excellent. Does not appear to have any replacement parts or repairs.
