This listing is for (2) shotguns, one is a side by side cap percussion and the other is a pump action. The first is a Marlin model 43 in 12 gauge with a six round internal magazine tube capacity and a 28″ barrel made between 1922-1930. This pump action shotgun is in very good condition with light wear throughout. The plastic butt-plate is in poor condition with heavy scuffs and chips to the right side. The hardwood stock is in excellent condition with no heavy scuffs or scratches to the finish. The receiver is in very good condition with a ton of finish left and only a few touches of metal oxidation. The wood fore end grip is in very good condition with light scuffs and scratches no cracks or chips. The barrel and magazine tube are in very good condition with a few scuffs, scratches and touches of metal oxidation. The brass bead front sight is in excellent functioning condition free from damage. The bore is clean and the function is smooth and tight. The second gun is a W.C. Scott & Son, side by side percussion cap shotgun in unknown caliber. This double barrel shotgun is in fair overall condition with heavy field wear throughout. The plastic butt-plate is in poor condition and is cracked and chipped. The hardwood stock is in poor condition with a few cracks along the length and another by the receiver. The wood fore end is in poor condition with small cracks and wood damage to right side. The hammer and double triggers are in very good functioning condition with with a touch of metal oxidation and light scuffs and scratches. The push rod is in good condition with a spot of damage in the middle. The barrels are in fair condition with heavy wear, metal oxidation and pitting. The bores are dirty but not oxidized.
