1915 German/Prussian Pickelhaube spiked helmet. This helmet has silver colored metal accents. The leather helmet is missing some of the interior headband parts. The chin strap is in functioning condition with dry cracking to the leather. The interior of the helmet has white dotting mold from long storage. The right side cockade is in white, black and red which is the National cockade. The left side denotes the state of the soldier which in this case has been repainted black which mean Prussian. This left side cockade was originally white, black and red and has been painted black at some point. The leather helmet has scuffs and light scratches throughout and a small contact ding on the rear metal strap bending it a small bit. This helmet comes with a rare cloth cover to protect the helmet.
