Scarce and Desirable Winchester Model 52 Sporting Rifle from 1936. Lightweight tapered round 24″ barrel with hooded ramp front sight and Lyman adjustable rear sight. Breech mounted with a Griffin and Howe quick disconnect scope mount together with a Period correct Carl Ziess Jena Zielklein Nr. 19314 Scope . Figured Walnut Pistol Grip Stock with hand checkering. An attractive period-correct quality leather sling and cheek pad with nice mellow patina is included. One Magazine marked W” appears original. Correctly Marked “SPORTING” in front of the trigger guard, PW mark on Barrel. Condition is Very to near Excellent with Original Deep blue polished blue on barrel and receiver and 92%+. Only minor areas of wear at the muzzle, bolt knob, a few scattered freckles, and an area of thin finish wear just in front of the magazine well, and the front of the trigger guard.
