Antique, 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army Six Shot Revolver chambered for .45 Long Colt. 4.75″ barrel with Two-Line Address on top and 45 COLT on side. Two-Line address on frame. Fitted with Custom Chased Native American Sterling Silver Grips (Likely Navajo Indian). Accompanied by a Colt Archive letter as Shipped to Griffith & Semple October 15th 1892, with a 7.5″ barrel. Condition: Matching Serial Numbers on Frame, Trigger Guard, and Strap. Front sight repaired or replaced, Little finish remaining, with developing dark grey patina, areas of surface rust and some light pitting. Cylinder has seen heavy use and wear, barrel shows muzzle wear and dings. Bore is serviceable but worn, action is goof to very good, likely some internal parts, and possibly some screws replaced. Barrel is either cut or a period replacement. Sterling Silver Grips are unmarked, but bear a date of 1905 on the inside. CLASS: ANTIQUE, NO FFL REQUIRED
