Description Japanese Arisaka late Type 99 in 7.7x58mm with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 26″ barrel. Metal butt plate. Split wood stock and grooved front foregrip. Blued smooth trigger, guard, magazine floor plate, bolt and barrel. Inside guard located serrated magazine floor plate release. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Unser barrel bayonet lug and cleaning rod. Left side of receiver bolt release. Comes with a early Type 30 Nagoya Arsenal bayonet and leather frog. Bolt and bayonet do not match serial number on rifle. Metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Imperial Japanese Chrysanthemum proof has been filed off of the receiver. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good/Very good with scuffs, scratches, wood dings, chips and touches of metal oxidation. The butt plate has heavy metal oxidation. Missing the wire monopod. Missing the original metal cleaning rod and now has a bamboo hand carved cleaning short rod. Clean rifled bore.
