Springfield Armory model 1903 in .30-06 with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 24 1/2″ barrel. The rifle has been “Sporterized” and has a “Remington UMC ” plastic butt plate in fair condition light wear and a small chip on the bottom. The wood stock is in very good condition with light all-over handling wear no cracks, clean checkering. The receiver is in good condition with touches of metal oxidation. The barrel is in fair condition with moderate metal oxidation throughout. The rifle has an aftermarket “Lyman” adjustable peep hole sight in good condition with touches of metal oxidation, needs a good cleaning. The rifle has two loops for mounting a shoulder strap they are in fair condition with metal oxidation. Very clean rifled bore and tight bolt action.
