Patinated blued barrel, ram rod, frame, unfluted cylinder, single action trigger, and hammer. Brass trigger guard. Smooth wood grips. Fixed iron sights with rear notch and fixed front blade. The top of the barrel is marked “PATENTED SEPT, 14,1858 E.REMINGTON & SONS.ILION, NEWYORK U.S.A NEW-MODEL”. “W” stamps on the left and right of the barrel. “Q” stamp and serial 117748 on the bottom of the barrel. “W” stamp on the right side of the frame and “P” stamp on the left. “G” and “C” stamps on the cylinder. “J” stamp on the trigger guard. “C” stamps on the bottom of both grips. “GR” stock cartouche on the left grip. Comes with a leather holster and belt. Antique/black powder ships directly to buyers home. Condition: Antique Good with heavy finish patina and metal oxidation throughout. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the metal. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. Bright bore with strong rifling, about a quarter down from the muzzle has spots of metal oxidation and wear, the rest of the bore is clean.
