Marlin Firearms Company model 336-A in .32 Special with a five round internal capacity and a 24″ barrel manufactured in 1949, the second year issue for this model. This lever action rifle is in very good overall condition with light wear. The Marlin proofed polymer butt-plate is in very good condition with no cracks or chips and clean checkering, missing the white ring between the plate and stock. The hardwood stock is in excellent condition and is mounted with a loop for a shoulder sling and another hole for mounting another. The butt of the pistol grip stock has a spot of finish wear from an old sticker removed. The receiver is in good condition with light edge wear, finish loss and a touch of metal oxidation, left side. The wood fore-end grip is in excellent condition free of handling wear or damage. The barrel with middle sight removed and rear sight added via a “Williams” adjustable Peep Hole is in very good condition. The barrel has a few light touches of oxidation, otherwise free of any other finish damage. “JM” proofed barrel and great patina. Clean rifled bore and tight lever action.
