Smith & Wesson model 686-5 made in 1997 in .357 magnum with a 4″ barrel. This revolver is in excellent overall condition. The “Smith & Wesson” rubber grips are in excellent condition still very supple and without any damage. The polished stainless steel frame is in very good condition with a few spots of contact on the right side behind cylinder. Cylinder has a very faint turn line and is in excellent condition, needs cleaning. Barrel with serrated top is in excellent condition with a few light scuffs nothing deep. The rifled bore is clean and the action is tight, needs a good cleaning. Adjustable rear sight and front fixed blade are in excellent condition no damage or wear.
