Description Yugoslavian M44 Mauser bolt action rifle with a 24″ barrel and a 5 round integral box magazine. CAI ST ALB VT import mark off the front right of the barrel. Features hardwood wooden stock, leather sling, front sight hood, refinished breach, stock, barrel, and bolt. Stock refinished and re-serialized to match receiver. Bolt, floor plate, and rear iron sights are not matching to original serial number. Butt plate is marked “brg”, front barrel band is marked with an eagle and “8358”. Floor plate is missing the front locking screw. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very Good, with operational and handling wear. Finish wear on high edges of steel, some scratches and light dents on hardwood. Leather is old and showing signs of cracking. Bore is lightly oxidized with strong rifling.
