Description World War Two German Walther code AC Karabiner 43 chambered in 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser) with one, ten round removable box magazine and a 21.7″ barrel. Manufactured between 1944 and 1945 with serial number 4532n. Patinated blued barrel, barrel band, receiver, bolt, charging handle, trigger, and trigger guard. Paddle magazine release and rear safety lever. Scope rail on the right side of the receiver. Adjustable rear ladder sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood top forend and pistol grip stock with cupped trap door metal butt plate. Mounted with a leather sling. The receiver, bolt, and bolt carrier are stamped serial number matching. The firing pin carrier and locking flaps are serial number matching in electro-pencil. Third Reich Eagle stamped on the receiver, barrel, and bolt. Waffenamt 359 is stamped on the receiver, under the rear sight, trigger, and bolt cover. Unknown Waffenamt on the barrel and bolt. WaAA44 Waffenamt is marked on the bolt carrier. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished with a faded Eagle stamp on the right side of the stock. The magazine is a Sudmetall AG, code “avx” with “WaA204” Waffenamt and stamped “K43”. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with most of the finish being Patinated with spots of metal oxidation. General wear from normal handling and operation. Light scratches and dings on the wood, appears to have been sanded at some point. Small thin crack on the bottom of the stock forward of the butt plate.
