Description World War II IBM Corp M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine with eleven total magazines and a 18″ IBM barrel. Manufactured in 1943 with serial number 3680655. The barrel is also dated to 1943 and marked “I.B.M. CORP. 9 – 43” over a flaming bomb proof. Protected front blade sight and Adjustable rear peep sight. Type 3 front barrel band with bayonet lug and sling loop. Straight belly stock with low wood and oval oiler cut with oiler. Early two rivet top handguard. Blued round body bolt. Push button magazine release and later rotary safety. Parkerized finish. The left side of the stock is stamped with a “U” and matching serial number. The right side of the stock has a faded Cross Cannons cartouche. The magazines included are eight, thirty round magazines, and three, fifteen round magazines. Also comes with technical manual and a green canvass magazine pouch with the outside of the flap marked “U.S.” and the inside of the flap marked “AVERY 1945”. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Normal wear on the moving/internal parts from operation. Spots of finish darkening, thinning, and general patina on the metal parts. Some spots of metal oxidation. Some parts of the wood may have been cleaned with some marking being dull and some being sharp. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. The bore is bright with some small spots of metal oxidation, strong visible rifling.
