Description WWII Remington Rand model 1911 A1 semi auto pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Manufactured in 1944 this example features a 5″ “HS” and “P” marked High Standard barrel, “P” marked slide with Syracuse address, “FJA” inspection mark on the frame along with US Property markings, fixed front and flat-top rear sight, checkered hammer and thumb safety, serrated slide stop, stamped trigger, long grip safety, checkered mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and reinforced Keyes-Fiber grip panels. Included is an unmarked leather shoulder holster and one period seven round magazine marked “R”. Ships to FFL/C&R only. Condition: Very Good showing finish wear on the high spots and light and scattered marks throughout from handling and use.
