Description Winchester 94 AE American Indian Tribute 1 of only 300 made chambered in .45 Colt with a tubular magazine and a 16″ barrel. This rifle is number 271 of 300 which is marked on the barrel. Blued barrel, magazine tube, bolt, loading gate, saddle ring. 24 Karat gold barrel bands, engraved receiver, and large loop lever with nickel inlay. Polished trigger and hammer. Adjustable rear buckhorn sight and fixed front blade. Checkered walnut forend and straight stock with checkered butt plate. The barrel has gold lettering that reads “THE AMERICAN INDIAN” on the left side, “AMERICA REMEMBERS AHL MECHANICSVILLE VA” marked on the top, and “271 of Three Hundred” marked on the right side of the barrel. The left of the receiver shows American Indian Buffalo hunting scene and the right shows a Buffalo. Inlayed Buffalo Head Nickel on the left side of the receiver and American Indian Head Penny on the right side. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with general light scratches and wear from handling/operation. Spots of metal oxidation throughout the metal parts, most heavily speckled across the barrel. Some of the gold lettering is scuffed. Some light tarnish/patina on the gold/nickel parts. Some light scratches and scuffs in the wood. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
