Description Winchester 70 Featherweight Ultra Grade number 93 of 1000 chambered in .270 Winchester with a 22″ barrel. Blued barrel, trigger, bolt handle, engraved receiver, floorplate, and trigger guard with gold inlay. Jeweled bolt and internal magazine. Checkered and carved deluxe walnut stock with Schnabel forend, capped pistol grip, and rubber Winchester butt pad. The receiver is drilled and tapped. Front and rear sling eyelets. The right side of the barrel is marked “1 of 1000”. Comes in its factory box with matching serial number, wood display case, sling swivels, and factory paperwork. Signed on the left side of receiver by the engraver: Bottega C. Giovanelli. This specific Ultra Grade was used during the 1983-1984 show season as a display for U.S Repeating Arms in Shot Show, Antiques Arms Collectors Show, NRA Show and the Cover of the January 1985 issue of Rifle Magazine. Must ship to FFL holder. Condition: Like New with very little wear on the wood and finish. Some small spots of metal oxidation on the pistol grip cap, sling eyelets, and some of the the crevices between the stock and receiver. Clean rifled bore.
