Description Pre-64, Winchester Model 70 Target Model in .30-06 Springfield with a three round capacity and a 24″ heavy bull barrel. Made in New Haven Connecticut in 1953. Checkered blued butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued trigger guard, serrated trigger, receiver, bolt handle and barrel. Rear bolt safety switch. Left rear side of receiver bolt release. No fixed sights, mounted with rails for sights/optics on the front end of muzzle, mid barrel, top of receiver and rear left side of receiver. Adjustable metal forend loops for mounting a shoulder sling/foregrip. WP, Winchester Proof marked receiver and barrel. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with light scratches, wood dings and rust. The rifled bore has a touch of rust.
