Description Wildey-owned Winchester 52 Sporting chambered in 22 long rifle with one, five round removable magazine and a 24″ barrel. Made in Japan and imported to New Haven Connecticut, marked on the right side of the barrel. Blued barrel, receiver, bolt handle/knob, adjustable trigger, and trigger guard. Monte Carlo style wood stock with checkered forend and pistol grip. Push to fire safety lever and push button magazine release. The receiver is drilled and tapped and mounted with a Leupold Vari-X 2-7 RF Special scope. Front and rear sling eyelets. Must ship to FFL holder. Condition: Very good with light wear on the finish and stock from normal handling and storage. The scope has clear and intact glass. Clean rifled bore. Wildey worked in the firearms business since the 1950’s as a gunsmith, Ed Argamonte’s, as a Salesman for Winchester, Stoeger, J.J. Tobler and Forenade Fabrikverken. Eventually setting out on his own to design and create the Wildey Survivor. The Survivor was most famously featured in the classic 1985 Movie Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson.
