Description Winchester 1892 chambered in .25-20 Winchester with a ten round tube magazine and a 24″ round barrel. Manufactured in New Haven Connecticut in 1902 with serial number 202984. Patinated blued finish with smooth wood forend and straight grip stock. Crescent metal butt plate. Adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade. The rear sight is missing its adjustment elevator. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair/Good with most of the finish showing heavy patina and varying spots of metal oxidation. Scratches, high edge wear, metal contact marks, and general cosmetic handling wear. Original blued finish on the rifle. The wood appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point, shows some light scratches and dings. The bore is dark with frosting of metal oxidation throughout, with some heavier spots of metal oxidation. The rifling is decently strong and still visible given the age.
