Description Winchester Model 1873 in .38-40 with a six round capacity and a 24″ half octagon to round barrel. Made in New Haven Connecticut in 1887. Half octagon to round barrel with half magazine configuration. Finish worn butt plate. Smooth walnut wood stock and front forend. Finish worn hand lever, trigger, receiver, hammer, magazine tube and barrel. Right side of receiver loading gate. Rear adjustable and front fixed brass blade sight. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers home. Condition: Antique, Good/Very Good with scratches, wood dings, finish wear/loss, rust and handling wear. The front sight blade has been replaced at some point. The rifled bore has rust and pitting with visible rifling.
