This lot is for one, U.S. model 1840 Calvary saber and scabbard. The scabbard has moderate wear, small dents, and metal oxidation throughout. The blade is proofed “W. Clauberg Solingen” and has moderate metal oxidation and pitting. The brass pommel and hand guard have moderate oxidation, scuffs and scratches. The handle has been covered in some kind of tape.
