Description Finnish VKT ( Valtion Kivaaritehdas ) -State Metalworks M39 Mosin Nagant chambered in 7.62x54mmR with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 27″ barrel. Manufactured in 1944 and imported by Century Arms, C.A.I, marked on the front side of the barrel. Blued butt plate. Blued trigger guard, hexagon receiver and barrel. Steel trigger and bolt with rear twist safety. Smooth wood stock with square finger spliced front forend. Rear flip up adjustable leaf and drift adjustable protected front blade sight. Metal loops for a sling. Under barrel removable cleaning rod and fixed bayonet lug. Comes affixed with a unmarked leather sling. The top of the barrel shank is stamped with [SA] property stamp, VKT, D, 70901, 1944. The receiver is marked with Imperial Eagle proof and the word: Deutschland. Non matching serial number on the bolt. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with light scratches, wood dings and pitting/oxidation on the trigger. Clean rifled bore.
