Built on the Remington 700 Short action Chassis by McMillian Tactical, this rifle appears to be a field used M40A5 USMC sniper rifle. OD green McMillan free float stock with an adjustable butt and cheek. Heavy match barrel with surefire QD muzzle device. Front picatinny top and side mount rail for AN/PVS-22 night vision, rear Picatinny for scope. Badger ordnance detachable magazine system. A rack number “3” is seen on underside of stock. Includes two USMC marked scope rings. Remington has confirmed that the receiver shipped to McMillan Tactical however McMillan Tactical would not state who the original owner or “ship to” of this gun. Condition: Good as expected for a training rifle. Blackened barrel, MD, and receiver are in very good condition. Stock furniture camouflage paint is heavily worn but the core stock is free of damage. Action is butter smooth, Mechanically excellent
