Description U.S. Springfield Armory 1898 Krag chambered in .30-40 Krag with a five round integral magazine and a 23″ barrel. The receiver was manufactured in 1900 withs serial number 204272. Blued barrel, receiver, magazine, trigger, and trigger guard. Unfinished bolt with flag style safety. Aftermarket wood Monte Carlo stock with diamond checkered forend and pistol grip. Ribbed Bishop Stocks butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels. The receiver is drilled and tapped and mounted with an aftermarket adjustable peep sight. Aftermarket ramped front blade sight with custom engraved/stippled ramp. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very Good as being Sporterized, light scratches and finish wear from handling and operation. Spots of finish patina. Light speckling of metal oxidation across most metal parts. Some scratches, scuffs, and dings in the wood. Mostly clean bore with light frosting of metal oxidation, strong visible rifling.
