Description U.S. Springfield Armory M1903 Mark I chambered in .30-06 with a five round integral magazine and a 24″ Springfield Armory barrel. The receiver is dated to 1919 with serial number 1087471. The barrel is dated to 1918 and marked “SA [Flaming Bomb Proof] 4-18”. Blued finish with wood top forend and straight stock. Faint “P” stock cartouche. Metal trap door butt plate (empty). Pedersen device cut in the receiver. Bolt mounted flag safety and magazine cut off switch. Adjustable rear ladder sight and fixed front blade. Front and rear sling swivels. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches and finish wear from handling and operation. Spots of metal oxidation, pitting, and finish patina. Finish wear on the sharp edges, contact points, and moving parts. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point with faint cartouches. Some scratches, scuffs, and dings in the wood. The bore is decently bright and frosting of metal oxidation throughout, shows strong visible rifling.
