Description U.S. Remington M1917 Enfield chambered in .30-06 with a six round internal magazine and a 26″ barrel. The barrel is dated to 1918 and marked R over Flaming Bomb proof “3-18”. Imported by CDI, marked on the bottom of the barrel. Front bayonet lug. Adjustable rear sight and protected front blade. Blued finish with smooth wood forend and stock. Metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels. Multiple Flaming Bomb and other small proofs. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair with scratches, marks, and general cosmetic handling wear. Varying spots of metal oxidation, pitting, and finish patina throughout. Heavy metal oxidation on the butt plate and barrel bands. Shows signs of water damage on the metal and wood. Scratches, scuffs, and dings in the wood. Some small cracks and chips in the wood near the end of the stock. Discoloration and finish loss on the wood. Decent bore, is bright and has strong visible rifling. Shows some light frosting of metal oxidation. SOLD AS-IS.
